Sham Colorblind and a Whispers of a Rainbow

I think you got your favorite toy back because you're nowhere around to find,
Back then when you were holding my hand, was she all over your mind??

All you gave me is your sugarcoated lies and I was naïve to fall,
I wonder if all those moments were real or did you ever love me at all?

You lied to me that you're over her now but I always knew,
I turned back from the truth because all I wanted was to be loved by you.

I gave you all my affection; that was the only thing you lacked,
You never cared to return it; even when I came closer, you took 3 steps back.

I took a leap since that was just a phase, but still sometimes it haunt,
You wanted nothing with me then, now you got our past to flaunt.

Everyone has their own parameter to experience feelings. Sometimes we receive a lot and still lack it. And sometimes even less is more for us.
Have you ever had to be satisfied at the least because the one providing is dearest to you? Because they are dearest to you, have you ever closed your eyes to their dogged bullets even if they shot your heart? You might not have but that doesn't mean nobody has closed their eyes when their lover twists the knife in their heart. Still, they forgive them because the love filled with a rainbow they have in their eyes and in their soul for them is much much more than the wound of the knife. 

What about the sham colorblind who refused to see that?? They know everything but still refuse to acknowledge it. How does the Universe push colorblind in the red circle of the rainbow?? Maybe this is how the world is supposed to be or the rainbow is supposed to be; Radiant yet Sad.
