Funny thing hope is!!!

When you tilted your lips; 

I recalled being mesmerized,

Quite enthralling and raw.

Your soft voice

When tinged my ear,

I stayed silent in awe.

How fast the time flew

In that fleeting moment,

My mind couldn't grasp.

I know our feelings were mutual;

Because when our eyes met,

It was funny, 

how the tower of your words collapsed.

And the departure,

But I always longed for reconcile.

Thought of us kept my heart fluttering,

like in the gentle breeze does the daffodil.

You were there in the crowd,

But it felt like the miles, you have no clue.

I kept looking but felt like our distance constantly grew.

And finally;

Ohhh Lord!! how fascinated I was,

When I stumbled onto you.

In that crowd,

Faint voice of yours fell softly in my ear,

It felt so real, together, when we stood there.

I would have divulged I like you,

Inside me, there remains no fear.

But the rejection would break me apart, 

And that thing my heart couldn't bear.

Between us distance grew apart,
