Adios, My favourit Sunset

How would I put this in words?
Others will say this is absurd,
And by your ear, my voice won't be heard.

My wings are drenched,
Your absurd lies made my soul wrenched.
Your sham promise I should've sensed.

Now I'm back where I was,
Maybe I should've,
If I could've, I would've not crossed the bars.
Now I'm lost again, somewhere away very far,
The frost is burning my previous scars.

I mayhap believed the words when you're sober,
Now I'm tipping my king over.
You got the smile, my heart,
And she got you wrapped around her finger.
So, I guess it was my fault to expect closure from a rover.

Ain't it true?
For you, I was always under the radar,
And you left like an average father.
Now they've been questioning but;
After the sunset,
How would I explain why suddenly my room is darker?
