LATER GATOR, ALLIGATOR
Did I asked much in start babe?
I kept longing for you,
While I didn't had hear your voice, wish you knew.
"Baby Steps", in my mind should've I scraped.
Do you miss mine "guess what happened today" ?
Sad ain't it, I couldn’t tell you about my unknowingly caused bruised and survived propagation anymore,
Or know nothing about your day.
Wish I could turn hour hand and go back,
I kept longing for you,
While I didn't had hear your voice, wish you knew.
"Baby Steps", in my mind should've I scraped.
Do you miss mine "guess what happened today" ?
Sad ain't it, I couldn’t tell you about my unknowingly caused bruised and survived propagation anymore,
Or know nothing about your day.
Wish I could turn hour hand and go back,
In those simple days where I got hear about your boring same days,
When we shared our sorrows; then you decided to go your way.
If I could, I'll be little bit less crazy so more you like, along with you let me tag.
If I could, I'll be little bit less crazy so more you like, along with you let me tag.
You said you won't let me go though and I buy that joke,
That was so petty but at least I was happy.
I like the idea of us together even though it would have been sappy.
So, can you just pretend,
Like you are really interested in me, how hard it'll be for you to just show?
Staring at your way like the mannequin in your display,
Waiting for you, your gaze and your presence,
But to look back at something and adore it, that's not your essence.
Still I beg you, either deal or kill me; I don't want to live in this grey.
With all the power should I yell?
"You turned out as man who couldn't keep your word,
Among all the people in the world why I gave my heart to the coward?"
If there was anyone willing to listen, I would've tell.
If there was anyone willing to listen, I would've tell.
If this is what you want, then I'll let you live you now,
Free from me;
But without you to live I don't know how,
So, surprise me with your presence and ask me to flee.
So let's explain the poem breaking it into the different kind of emotions.
So let's explain the poem breaking it into the different kind of emotions.
Beginning Reflection:
So the girl is questioning if she was too demanding at the beginning of the relationship or I don't think that's relationship. Maybe situationship. :D She longed for the person intensely, when she haven't heard his voice till date. She's questioning her expectations or desires were overwhelming for the other person or WHATEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Missing Daily Interactions:
She reminisce about sharing daily stories and updates. She feel sad because she can no longer share her experiences or hear about the mundane details of their life, which she miss.
Wishing to Go Back:
She wish she could return to the simpler times when she could hear about their day, even if it was boring. She shared her troubles and problems with the other person then he move on. So, she wish she had been less intense or more agreeable so they might have stayed.
Feeling Misled:
She feel deceived by their promise not to leave, which now seems like a joke. Despite this, she found happiness in the relationship (situationship). She ask if they can at least pretend to care, questioning how difficult it would be for them to show some interest.
Feeling Abandoned:
She feel like she's just waiting lifelessly, like a mannequin, for their attention. She acknowledge that they aren't one to look back and appreciate what was. Despite this, she beg them to either engage with her or end the uncertainty because the emotional limbo is unbearable.
Expressing Anger and Pain:
She's contemplating expressing her anger and disappointment, accusing them of being unreliable and cowardly. She feel isolated because she believe no one is there to listen to her pain.
Resignation and Hope:
She reluctantly decide to let them go if that’s what they want, even though she don't know how to live without them. She hold onto a sliver of hope that they might come back and ask you to run away with them, offering a chance to escape the pain.
And last thing, play "The Prophecy" from Taylor Swift in background if you want to hurt yourself more.
